Ukraine says seven people were killed and three wounded amid 15 Russian strikes in the Donetsk region in the last 24 hours. Ukraine has said that Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Kherson regions on October 25. Kyiv said that Russian forces attacked a car, killing two people in the Kherson region on October 25. Air raid sirens were heard across Kyiv and other northern regions amid reports of Russia launching Iranian drones. Ukraine also said that it repelled Russian military attacks in various directions in the last 24 hours. Russian-backed official Kirill Stremousov claims that situation remains stable in the Kherson region. Chechen warlord and Putin ally Ramzan Kadyrov has slammed Russia’s ‘weak’ attacks on Ukraine. Ukraine’s state energy company claims that Russia is carrying out secret construction in Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. President Putin has called for more streamlined decision-making in Russia’s military campaign in Ukraine. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen have appealed for a “Marshall Plan” to rebuild Ukraine. Zelensky has appealed to the reconstruction conference to cover an expected budget deficit for next year of $38 billion.
