Ukraine’s military claims that it has killed over 350 Russian troops in the east and south over the last 24 hours. Reuters reported that Ukrainian troops are approaching the borders of self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR). Luhansk governor Serhiy Haidai said Russian forces have ordered that the mobile Internet be cut off in the region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was in the city of Izyum on September 14, days after it was liberated. The Kremlin has said Ukraine’s ongoing ambitions to join the NATO military alliance continue to present a threat to Russia’s security.
