Ukraines troops first saw Russian soldiers put the turtle tank Tsar Mangal vehicles into service in Chasvi Yar, Krasnohorivka, and Kharkiv. Footage from the frontlines has shown the vehicle surviving several FPV drone strikes where it rips the sheet metal off and the tank keeps moving. It’s also shown over a dozen abandoned ones destroyed. Reports from Ukranians telegram channels revealed that they had to expend multiple drones on one tank. They also stated that electronic countermeasures attached to the turtle tanks in the lead of the formation was dropping some of their FPV drones like flies.
