The U.S. Navy has announced that the USS Georgia, one of its four Ohio-class guided-missile submarines (SSGNs), has been deployed to the Middle East. This move comes amid growing concerns that Iran and its proxies may retaliate following Israel’s assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran.
