It is not clear which JF-17 version will be supplied to Argentina. Notably, JF-17 Block III will be a powerful upgrade version, including compatibility with the latest aviation weapons, advanced active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar. The performance of the JF-17 is considered to be on par with the American F-16V and the Swedish JAS-39 Gripen. However, these features are completely unproven.
