The Tiger’s and Panther’s guns (88mm L56 and 75mm L71) are very iconic and in some cases quite different to the guns of the Allies particularly the British guns. In this video with Dr. Jens Wehner we talk about how the Germans went for a longer barrel instead of going for a more sophisticated projectile.
