Last week, 30 service members were recognized for their commitment to duty and courage under fire during the Iranian attack of April 13, 2024 — including Capt. Lacie “Sonic” Hester, an F-15E Strike Eagle Weapon Systems Officer, and her pilot, Maj. Benjamin “Irish” Coffey, both of whom received the nation’s third highest award for valor, the Silver Star.
