It had been rumoured that the flagship would be named HMS Prince Philip. The ship will be built in the UK and utilise as much domestically manufactured content as possible, although the supply chain will inevitably involve some foreign components. The estimated crewing requirement at this early stage is about 70 Royal Navy sailors.
