After years of anticipation, Northrop finally announced they will be revealing the world’s newest stealth Heavy bomber – the B-21 Raider. The B-21 is named in honor of Jimmy Dolittle’s B-25 Raiders, which famously attacked Imperial Japan shortly after the events of Pearl Harbor during World War II. The B-21 Raider builds on the success of its legendary predecessor, the B-2 Spirit which was also developed by Northrop.
