Video description: The AT4 is an 84mm unguided anti-armour weapon manufactured by Swedish Saab Bofors Dynamics. It was the first anti-tank munition especially designed to employ enhanced lethality against armored vehicles. With the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, Sweden had managed to delivered the AT-4 into the war torn country. Images of a Ukrainian soldier holding the Swedish AT4 anti-tank missile launcher has been surfaced online in social media during the 11th day since Russia invade Ukraine. Sweden has supplied weaponry to a war-torn country for the first time since World War II. The shipments include 5,000 anti-tank weapons, plus 5,000 helmets, 5,000 body armour, and 135,000 field rations. The Swedish government delivered The AT4 to Ukraine so to provide Ukrainian army with the capability of defending the Russian ground forces from further invasion. The majority of Russian armoured vehicles in Ukraine are not tanks, but rather powerfully armed but poorly armoured infantry combat vehicles such as the BMP, BMD, and BTR-82, armoured personnel carriers such as the MT-LB, self-propelled artillery and others. These are all vulnerable to the AT-4. Ukraine has received both the regular model, which produces a dangerous backblast and the CS model which has a lower velocity but can be safely used from inside buildings.
