The US Army announced that it has ordered 83 more Stryker combat vehicles with the 30 mm Medium Caliber Weapon System from Oshkosh Defense under a $99 million deal. In June 2021, Oshkosh Defense won a competition to up-gun Double V-Hull A1 Stryker infantry carrier vehicles with a Medium Caliber Weapon System, or MCWS. The first delivery order covered 91 vehicles valued at $130 million, and most recently, 83 more.
