Amid spiralling tensions with the West over Ukraine, Russia has announced the induction of its newest nuclear submarine. Russia’s nuclear-powered Perm submarine is set to enter service with the Russian Navy in 2026.Putin has also sent one of Russia’s most modern warships, armed with the Zircon, off to the Atlantic Ocean. “Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Gorshkov” would sail past Britain, to the Atlantic and Indian oceans and to the Mediterranean Sea.
