Russian Airlines have 515 Commercial Aircraft that have been financed using FOREIGN LEASES. At the end of February the EU introduced SANCTIONS that require all Leases to be CANCELLED by March 28. In response to this RUSSIA has introduced NEW LAWS which enable the Russian Airlines to SEIZE OWNERSHIP of the planes and to Register them as Russian Aircraft.
