The Nova Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant has been destroyed by the Russians. The destruction of this Dam is the largest global ecological disaster since Fukushima and the largest in Europe since Chernobyl. Russia blew the dam in preparation for their retreat from the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions in anticipation of Ukraine’s upcoming counteroffensive.
