Cetus will be the largest and most complex uncrewed submersible operated by any European navy. Cetus sets a new standard in autonomous underwater systems, boasting specifications distinguishing it from other unmanned submersibles. Measuring 12 metres in length with a diameter of 2.2 metres, the 17 tonne vessel can operate at depths beyond the Royal Navy’s current submarine fleet.
