British spatial data company ShadowBreak Intl has acquired a “few hundred hours and a few hundred files” of radio communication from Russian troops on the ground in Ukraine, according to its founder Samuel Cardillo.“In 2022 you will imagine that the Russian army has equipment and encrypted communication because it’s the standard for a modern army,” he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.“We’ve heard them talking about what they’re going to do after they wake up, we’ve heard them having jokes, we’ve heard them crying during fights … we’ve heard an entire range of things.“When we take everything together – both the radio communication and the satellite imagery that we’re gathering – we’re seeing not great advancement from the Russian troops, clearly they’re having a lot of issues.”
