Train With Military Tanks In A Hurry Passes An Abandoned Bridge! Perfect Over Head View Of The Tanks While The Train Comes Around A Curve. Train Crossing Over From One Track To The Other Right Under Me With A Great View! Train Going Through “S” Curves ( Reverse Curves ) & Over A 2 Track Bridge. 2 Other Norfolk Southern Trains Included. I finally got another train with military equipment. When I first saw the train with tanks I caught it in Erlanger, Kentucky going southbound. As luck would have it another train was passing at the same time and blocked my view. I drove all the way past Williamstown almost to Mason, Kentucky to catch it again. We see it passing under me while I am on an abandoned vehicle bridge. I am on Cherry Grove Road. I am told that these are M1 Abrams that were manufactured in Lima, Ohio. There are over 5,000 of them in active status and 3,600 stored. They cost over 4 million dollars each. Before the train with tanks passed I got a northbound mixed freight so you will see that one first. You will also hear railroad radio transmitting on 160.950 for the defect detectors. Then we go back to Erlanger, Kentucky. We see an intermodal train crossing over from Main 2 to Main 1. I actually filmed this train first. Check out the awesome view of this train taken from a knoll on the east side of the tracks. It is diverging from Track 2 to Track 1. Next, we go to Walton, Kentucky where we see a fast grain train. The train is on this same line and is running southbound towards Chattanooga. It goes around a curve and crosses a railroad crossing. The fifth and final train is a Norfolk Southern westbound train on the Heartland Corridor between Piketon and Waverly, Ohio. The train is going through some awesome “S” curves. I just added this train for the heck of it. It looks cool and is along the same theme. The spot where I filmed it is very interesting. The train goes over a bridge and less than 100 feet from this bridge is a CSX bridge. You can see CSX and NS trains at this same area. They actually call this Greggs Hill. I filmed the very last circus train running through here on its way to West Virginia. That was a two day trip and I stayed at Charleston, West Virginia. I recommend those videos so check them out.
