Ladny, launched on May 7, 1980, and officially commissioned on March 25, 1982. After the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991 the frigate became a part of the Russian Navy, and now is active with the Black Sea Fleet.Ladny is classified as a guided missile frigate.
