Israel’s military says it has struck targets in southern Syria in response to earlier rocket attacks. The airstrikes hit a Syrian military compound and radar systems in the area from where the rockets were fired. The Israeli army said it holds the state of Syria responsible for all acts carried out on its territory. At least six rockets were fired from Syrian territory towards Israel overnight. Some landed inside the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights but no casualties have been reported.
