Fears of another major escalation between Israelis and Palestinians over Al-Aqsa has forced Tel Aviv to take serious measures. The Israeli army deployed additional Iron Dome batteries across the country ahead of the fourth Friday of Ramadan. Iron Dome missile defence batteries are on high alert in northern Israel amid fears of potential attacks. The last Friday of Ramadan also coincides with Iran commemorating its annual “Quds Day”. Tens of thousands of Iranians marched to Tehran chanting “death to America” and “death to Israel” to mark “Jerusalem Day”.
