On 23 Nov, the Russian military attacked a factory in Dnipro in Ukraine.The target was a key infrastructure – Pivdenmash, formerly Yuzhmash.Pivdenmash produces spacecraft, launch vehicles (rockets), liquid-propellant rockets, landing gears, castings, forgings, tractors, tools, and industrial products. The company is headquartered in Dnipro and reports to the State Space Agency of Ukraine. It works with international aerospace partners in 23 countries.The strike package included 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles, one Kinzhal hypersonic missile, and an unknown missile which was later designated as – Oreshnik.A US official confirmed, “The United States was pre-notified briefly before the launch”.
