At least seven Israeli forces of the Golani Brigade were reportedly killed during clashes with Lebanon’s Hezbollah on October 16. Israeli media claims the fatalities were caused during clashes near the Lebanese border villages of Aita al-Shaab and Ramia, PressTV reported. According to Hezbollah, its fighters were seen “engaging in violent clashes with the Israeli forces from zero distance with various types of machine guns”. The clashes are reportedly continuing amid heavy artillery bombardment and helicopter activity in the area.
