General

After nearly 23 years, the F-35 fighter jet program has been approved for full-rate production by the Pentagon. This allows for multi-year contracts with Lockheed Martin, aiming for a stable production rate of 156 aircraft annually. Previously delayed integration with wargaming simulations was resolved in September 2023. This paves the way for fulfilling the US Air Force’s planned fleet of 1,763 F-35A jets.
