Does the US Navy have ROBOT SHARKS prowling the ocean?

General

Back in 2014, the U.S. Navy drew headlines around the world by testing a biomimetic uncrewed undersea vehicle (UUV) designed to replicate the undersea performance of real fish. The result was a robotic shark known as the Ghost Swimmer. But shortly after this robo-shark effort took the media by storm, the program went almost completely silent… With no further press releases or public tests of the system. Let’s dive into Boston Engineering’s Ghost Swimmer AUV, and see if we can’t get to the bottom of this mystery.
