It is not the Su-27, the Su-30 or the Su-35, but the MiG-29 that has been the most exported fighter by Russia since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. The MiG-29 Fulcrum is Russia’s oldest twin-engine fighter still in production today. The MiG-29 had its first flight on October 6, 1977, and entered service for the first time in the Soviet Air Force in 1982.
