A Chinese air force pilot from the PLAAF’s Wang Hai brigade, Captain Yang Juncheng, stated on CCTV that he successfully flew an J-20 fighter jet over Taiwan’s airspace undetected. The Wang Hai air group is the first combat unit in China to be fully equipped with J-20 fighter jets. The PLAAF has been increasing its incursions into Taiwan’s Air Defence Identification Zone.
