China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) already has more ships than the United States Navy, according to a Congressional Research Service report. The Federation of American Scientists said in July that China is building 250 new intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) silos. If those silos have nuclear capabilities, it could rival the United States nuclear arsenal. Like the Soviet capabilities that surprised us with Sputnik, is China more advanced than we realize?
