Shield AI has completed its second flight demonstration of Hivemind, its cutting-edge mission autonomy software, on a GA-ASI MQ-20 Avenger, in a live-virtual-constructive (LVC) environment, the test showcased real-time coordination between a live aircraft and its digital twin in a complex, mission-realistic scenario. Hivemind executed tactical maneuvers such as formation flying and combat air patrol, using Autonomy – Government Reference Architecture (A-GRA) compliant mission planning tools — a major leap toward scalable, operational mission autonomy in contested environments.
