Congressional Research Service recently informed Congress that 37% of U.S. Navy attack submarines are not available due to maintenance availability. While the U.S. spends hundreds of Billions of dollars every year on military projects, over one third of our attack submarine fleet sits idle due to lack of shipyard facilities.In this video, I review two of the most impactful decisions that led to this point. I also offer a solution. This can be fixed.
