The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), known as the “Night Stalkers,” is the U.S. Army’s elite aviation force, providing specialized helicopter support (Black Hawks, Chinooks, Little Birds) for special operations missions worldwide, famous for their high-risk, nighttime insertions and extractions, and recently involved in operations like capturing Venezuelan President Maduro, with deployments lasting 30-90 days.
