Reports suggest that an F-15E was hit by an Iranian SAM coming off target on April 3. The crew was forced to eject. The pilot was eventually picked up, but the WSO still remains on the ground (at this writing). Two aircraft in the combat search and rescue package – an A-10 Warthog and an H-60 – were also hit. The A-10 pilot ejected once he was out of enemy territory. The helicopter was able to divert to a friendly base in Iraq. In this livestream, Mooch and veteran USAF F-16 pilot Rain Waters analyze the evidence and what it suggests about the state of the Iranian military five weeks into the war.
