The Pentagon pays about $400,000 for every JLTV or Joint Light Tactical Vehicle. So what does that money actually get you? In this video we will talk about the vehicle that is taking over the Humvee’s job. We’ll start up front in the drivers seat where it’s been taking down a tank trail at 40mph without even spilling a drop out of it’s cup holder. Yes it has a cup holder. It’s got a backup camera, terrain mode like your family SUV and seats shaped for the water pack fitted on a soldiers back. Then we will go outside of the vehicle and crawl underneath, look at the suspension, a neat trick it does to let it fit on ships and cargo planes and even the armor kit that can turn this light truck in to a 11 ton mini tank. Obviously we have to talk about where it came from, starting in Wisconsin where the near 7 billion dollar contract kicked off the production, how the truck ended up nearly doubling in it’s initial priced value and we will even park a Humvee right beside it to see why the old truck couldn't simply be fixed.
