Iran’s naval forces and Revolutionary Guard have been building up their capabilities. As per reports, The Alvand destroyer, the newest ship of Iran’s Navy, entered service on December 19, 2021. Iran has also added four Martoob al-Sabehat 15 Type submarines and 110 combat speedboats to its fleet.
