I was invited to fire the M134D Minigun from a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter during a live-fire range event to vlog the experience. The recoil, the sound, the handling, and the perspective you only get when you’re in the door with nothing but air beneath you. The M134D is a 7.62 NATO rotary machine gun capable of extremely high rates of fire up to 6000 rounds a minute and sustained engagements.
