In October 2025, the White House lost an entire wing with a history spanning more than 120 years. It came down in three days, leaving only rubble where the East Wing once stood. In its place, they're putting up about 90,000 square feet of new building, roughly 1.6 times the White House's floor area. And everyone's calling it a ballroom. It is not.
