A woman narrowly escaped a blast as Russia launched waves of drones at Kyiv and the surrounding region on Friday.
Warehouses and homes were damaged in a second consecutive day of strikes that Ukrainian officials said were aimed at disrupting daily life for millions of residents.
At least one person was killed in the Kyiv region, Governor Tymur Tkachenko said. He added that fourteen warehouse facilities, 16 homes and three apartment buildings were damaged.
