NASA’s Super Guppy is a specialized cargo aircraft designed to transport oversized aerospace components. Its enormous fuselage allows it to carry cargo that would not fit inside conventional transport aircraft. The current aircraft, N941NA, first flew in 1983 and was transferred to NASA in 1997. More than 40 years after its first flight, it remains in active service today.
