US Navy Blockade in the Strait of Hormuz Goes OFFENSIVE

U.S. military focus in the ongoing conflict with Iran now appears to be mostly on preventing the IRGC from rebuilding the radar and missile capabilities required to attack commercial shipping attempting to transit the Strait of Hormuz.

In what was the first use of the new “tanker for a tanker” policy, CENTCOM forces followed the IRGC attacks by striking two Iranian government tankers. This offensive strategy is a marked departure from the previous use of blockades as a prevention measure to keep Iranian oil from flowing through the Strait.
