Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the 9/11 Memorial in New York on Tuesday, paying tribute to the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks. According to Associated Press the Ukrainian president placed a bouquet at the memorial. Zelenskyy is in New York for the United Nations General Assembly, where he is expected to meet with world leaders and other officials as Ukraine seeks continued international support amid its war with Russia. Zelenskyy’s visit comes as diplomatic efforts over the war in Ukraine remain a focus of discussions among world leaders gathered in New York.
