Ukraine’s defense industry has unveiled new details about the FP-9, a long-range ballistic missile under development by Fire Point, a rapidly growing Ukrainian defense company. According to public statements by Fire Point co-founder and chief designer Denys Shtilerman, the FP-9 is intended to provide Ukraine with a domestically developed long-range strike capability. The company has outlined ambitious performance goals, including an estimated range of 800–855 kilometers, a large warhead, and a high-speed ballistic flight profile designed to reduce warning time and challenge modern air defense systems.
