Throughout August, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed more than 4,600 aerial targets and neutralized more than 50,000 tactical-level UAVs. During the month, Ukrainian defend-ers destroyed: 25 Kh-101 cruise missiles; 8 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles; 8 Kalibr cruise missiles; 21 Kh-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles; 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles;5 Onyx anti-ship missiles; 101 S8000 Banderole missiles; 1,876 Shahed-131/136-type attack UAVs; 1,460 Shahed-238-type strike UAVs; 1,031 reconnaissance UAVs; 820 Lancet UAVs. It was also reported that more than 50,000 tactical-level drones were neutralized by Ukraini-an forces over the course of the month. Throughout August, the Ukrainian Air Force carried out more than 1,900 combat sorties. Of these, more than 1,400 were conducted for fighter air cover; around 300 were carried out to provide fire support and air support to ground forces.
