Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine is effectively responding to Russia’s daily terrorist strikes across almost the entire geographic scope. Zelenskyy reminded that Ukrainian forces achieved results in Novorossiysk in Russia’s Krasnodar Region over the past 24 hours. He said a naval base was hit, including a terminal involved in oil shipments, military harbor facilities, and military vessels carrying Kalibr cruise missiles. Zelenskyy thanked personnel from the Security Service of Ukraine, SBU, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Ukrainian Navy, the Main Intelligence Directorate, and the State Border Guard Service for what he described as their precision. “I thank everyone who is expanding the potential of our long-range sanctions, so that Russia’s war is increasingly felt where it came from,” Zelenskyy said. The strikes come as Ukraine continues to use long-range weapons and drones to target Russian military and strategic infrastructure far from the front line. Novorossiysk, a major Black Sea port, has previously been targeted amid Ukraine’s campaign against Russian military and logistical capabilities.
