On the night of October 23, a data center operated by Russia’s Federal Tax Service was attacked in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
The facility is one of the Federal Tax Service’s two key data centers operating in a geographically distributed configuration. It stores and processes information from state registries, including tax databases.
