US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to establish a US Space Academy, modelled on America’s military service academies.
Speaking at NASA’s Johnson Space Center, he said it would train personnel for the expanding Space Force and commercial sector. Trump also said NASA was developing a nuclear-powered spacecraft for a planned 2028 Mars mission.
