Could the U.S. Air Force buy brand-new F-16s again? Air & Space Forces Magazine reports that new Vipers are being considered to help fill fighter fleet shortfalls.
An upgraded version could potentially carry the designation “F-16G,” but no purchase has been announced. The Air Force says its analysis is still in the early stages, with mission requirements and options yet to be defined.
