The U.S. Marines Just Fielded a New Amphibious Combat Vehicle With a 30mm Cannon – The U.S. Marines are getting a new way to bring serious firepower to the battlefield. The ACV-30 combines an eight-wheeled amphibious combat vehicle with Kongsberg's remotely operated PROTECTOR RT-20 turret and a 30mm XM813 Bushmaster cannon. The unmanned turret keeps the crew protected inside the hull while providing stabilized firepower, dual-feed ammunition, and under-armor reloading.
