A lot of footage (alleges) that Bayraktar TB-2 took out air defense, radar sites, tanks and vehicles in the Nagorno-Karabakh region and the start of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Yet recently, far less footage has been released. Let’s analyse the proliferation of Bayraktar, the hype behind TB-2, the operational context and how social media generate a misleading image of the effectiveness of drone warfare.
