Russia says two Tu-95 strategic bombers conducted patrol flights over neutral waters in the Barents and Norwegian seas.
The defence ministry said foreign fighter jets escorted the aircraft during parts of the mission, highlighting continued military activity in northern waters amid heightened regional tensions.
