Four people were killed and 12 injured in Russian drone attacks on Kyiv’s Obolonskyi and Desnianskyi districts on Wednesday evening, Kyiv police said. According to Associated Press in the Obolonskyi district, a drone hit a courtyard between residential buildings, killing two people and injuring seven, including a 12-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, the police said. Another drone struck a residential building in the Desnianskyi district, killing two women and injuring five residents, among them two children aged 1 and 6, according to the police. Police, rescuers, medics and other emergency services worked at the sites. In total, the attack killed six people and injured 21 in Kyiv, the police said. Russia and Ukraine are locked in a long-range aerial war while their armies remain largely deadlocked on the front line, more than 4 1/2 years since Moscow’s full-scale invasion.
