During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, following Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to the Australian parliament on 31 march 2022 and a request for bushmasters, prime minister Scott Morrison agreed to give 20 bushmasters to Ukraine on 8 April 2022.
